She works with adolescent and adult clients with a variety of presenting psychological and mental health concerns. She is an integrative and person-centered therapist, primarily using techniques from cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and acceptance and commitment therapy. Her therapeutic interests include anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, adjustment conditions involving life stress, personality disorders and anger issues. She offers psychological assessment services for adults to evaluate symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, assess intellectual and adaptive functioning and provide diagnostic clarification.

Dr. Torborg was born in New Hampton, Iowa. She moved to Minnesota at 4 years of age and grew up in Cold Spring. She moved to Pequot Lakes in 2016 to be closer to family who live in the area. She is married with three children. In her personal time, she enjoys socializing with family and friends, cooking, reading, movies, bike rides, traveling, and board games.
